Promptly treat any open cuts, sores, or wounds to help prevent infestation. Consider using an iodine spray or approved products such as Catron® or Durvet Screwworm Spray on open wounds as directed by the label.

Early detection and treatment are key. Check your animals regularly, report any suspicious cases to your veterinarian, and continue practicing good animal health management.
