☀️ Good Morning from Rose & her babies! 🐾

One of my absolute favorite things as a breeder is walking over to a whelping pen and hearing… absolutely nothing. 😍

A quiet litter usually means one of two things, and since we’ve had enough negativity around here lately, I’m just going to let y’all imagine the first reason.

The second reason?

Full bellies. Warm puppies. Content little babies. ❤️

When puppies are sleeping peacefully instead of fussing and crying, it’s usually because Mama is doing exactly what she’s supposed to be doing. And for a first-time mama, Rose is doing an amazing job keeping these babies fed, warm, and happy.

Content puppies make life so much easier, and it’s one of the best signs that everything is going well in the whelping box.

Now… if we could convince Rose that cleaning babies is just as important as feeding them, that would be great. 🤣

But honestly, I’ll happily clean little booties and change bedding all day long if it means I’m not having to supplement feed. That’s a blessing I’ll never take for granted.

So this morning, we’re thankful for full tummies, sleeping puppies, and a mama who’s figuring it all out one day at a time. 🥰🐾

PS…Puppies + Rain = I sure am glad I got a kiddie pool that’s easy to keep clean for this litter 🙌🏼

Even though the surprise got flipped back on to us…ALL 9 pups are MALES 😅

😥 It’s been a week…

And if I’m being honest, these two are still hanging out with us mostly because I’ve been slacking on posting updates!

👉 Federal & Dixie continue to make every day a little brighter around here. ❤️

These two have been an absolute joy to raise. They’re full of puppy kisses, endless snuggles, and the kind of personalities that make you smile the moment you see them.

They’ve been working hard on their basic manners and are picking things up like little rock stars. 🌟

They’re also doing fantastic with kennel training…settling in happily at bedtime and making us proud every single day. 👏

Watching them grow into confident, loving companions has been such a blessing. While we’re enjoying every extra cuddle, we’re excited to see what the future holds for these sweet babies and the families who will follow their journey.
