NYS enacts a policy ( following CDC"s recommendations) on Wednesday 5/19/2021 of allowing vaccinated people to go maskless in most situations. This policy is a terrible burden for many buisness owners to be laiden down wirh- the enforcement and policing of this policy falls directly on the buisness and creates much room for conflict for the buisness and their patrons.
Being vaccinated should be a personal choce- however- the CDC's and NYS's guidelines most definitely incentivize people to get the vaccine and penalize those who dont. Personally- I'm tired of it all. Even discussing it. I'm not in charge. You aren't in charge. Things will be what they will be- its outside of our power to change that. The policy's the agencies have laid out and are incentiving are ones that greater minds than mine have determined will lead us out of this quagmire. . I feel powerless to enact or effect a change regarding any of this. All's I know is this- I just want my life back. I'm sure others do to. I wish those who have perished could still be here.. but we find ourselves in the here and now.-. Just wanna see everybody healthy and happy- no politicking. No forcing anybody to do what they don't want to. Live and let live. Things will work out how they will- we all know the various consequences- we all accept those- let's just leave it go at that.
