I learned leadership from my grandparents, but espically my papa. He was powerful. Respected. Steady. But what made him unforgettable was how kind and sweet he was 🤍

Every single time I saw him, no matter what was happening, he would look at me and say, “Smile.”

Not because life was perfect… but because joy is strength. I didn’t fully understand that back then. I do now.

Now that I’ve built businesses of my own, taking risks, leading, expanding … now I understand him more than ever. This journey isn’t for the weak. It stretches you. It humbles you. It tests you in ways you never expect.

Now then I look at my boys at Their music lessons, at Their baseball games… The way their confidence is growing I see so much of my papa in them — the light, the leadership, the heart.

The greatest honor of all is that I get to lead them now. I get to show them what building something from nothing looks like. What resilience looks like. What faith looks like. What it means to keep smiling even on the hard days.

So if you’re reading this and you’re tired, doubting yourself, or feel like giving up… I dare you to smile anyway.

Not because it’s easy.
But because you’re stronger than you think 🤍
