2016! What a massive year! Spent a lot of my time in the high desert, riding horses without saddles, trying on dresses and planning and executing an EP release, mostly from my bed. I like doing my admin in bed, especially when the rest of the job is an out-of-this-world crazy dream rollercoaster ride of highs and lows. But it was also the year I found my doggy soulmate, Monkey - and boy did I need him! When It’s All Over is a song about the darkest form of heartbreak, the loss of a loved one. I wrote it and lived it for all of 2016 and with the help of many very talented people, made some art out of it, and on Thanks Giving day, Monkey barked his way into my life and answered my question - where do we go when it’s all over? We get up, and we walk on, with a fur baby by our sides 🙌🙏
