A boy & his Mama💜 Motherhood sessions are so special & one of my favorites to capture. This little wildling just loves his beautiful Mommy so much & like a lot of 2 year old boys (mine included😆) his love language is very physical - running tackles, face squeezes & slaps, sometimes an unintentional headbutt🤷🏻‍♀️. Being a boy mom means being loved hard, but it is a truly beautiful & unbreakable bond.

I'm so in love with this maternity session with this gorgeous family❤ Their baby boy has been trying to arrive early & Mama was on bed rest, so we changed our location from the coastal forest to a cozy lifestyle shoot in my home. While I always love sessions in nature, I think this session turned out beautifully💕

This year I entered some of my Photography work into the Shoot & Share contest & these were my highest placing photos! Out of a total of 583,150 images submitted from photographers around the world, I had 1 image in the top 100, 4 Finalists, 3 top 10%, 8 top 20%, & 8 top 30%. I'm so happy that these photos of my little NICU baby did so well, they are very special to me ❤ Thank you to all that voted for my photos!

My beautiful baby boy is 2 months & growing so fast! He's my most favorite little subject ever & so far, he doesn't fight me on the endless reasons for a baby photo sesh 📸👶🏼

Today, November 8th, 2018 was my beautiful baby boys original due date. Carter is now 9lbs & 20.5" long! Our journey in the NICU was not an easy one & for a while, it was too hard for me to even look at some of the photos I took during our time there. With so many tubes in his little face, severely swollen eyes & red skin from all of the tape going on & off - It was painful to see my tiny baby so miserable 💔

I am so thankful to have him home to snuggle & love on every minute of each day & I am so fortunate to have such a healthy baby boy! Happy almost Birthday Carter, I love you so much! 💓
