The other day, a client stepped off the InBody scanner and looked at the paper for a long moment.

"I thought I was doing better," she said quietly.

I didn't say this out loud, but I noticed how quickly we can let a number decide the story we tell ourselves.

The truth is, an InBody scan is not a report card.

It is a snapshot.

Our bodies are living, changing, adapting. Hydration, sleep, stress, exercise, the time of day—even these small things can influence the numbers. That doesn't mean you failed. It means you have a human body, not a machine.

At Recovery Space, I love using InBody because it gives us information. Information can bring awareness. Awareness can guide our next step.

But numbers do not measure your discipline when no one is watching.
They do not measure the courage it took to begin again.
They do not measure how much stronger, wiser, or kinder you have become through difficult seasons.
