❗️Millions are feeling the impact of recent cyberattacks on financial institutions.
Prudential Financial, a financial services company providing insurance, investment management, and other financial products, disclosed a breach that affected 2.5 million individuals.
Additionally, Patelco Credit Union, a not-for-profit credit union serving over 300,000 members with a wide range of financial services, experienced a ransomware attack that resulted in ATM outages and limited online access.
These incidents highlight the growing threats to financial institutions as hackers are increasingly targeting financial institutions for their sensitive data, accounting for nearly one-fifth of all attacks.
