Run The Scene NYC

In a past life I was running around all of NYC with my partners in grime CGK KRUE (Canned Goods Krew) which was mainly myself (FELIN) AE ONE, EVEN and KUE. The mornings we’d meet up at 3am and either drive or jump on the train to Franklin K Lane HS as our starting point, rock a piece and then wherever our roads led, we headed.

I look back at these times and think to myself, as someone that was born and raised in Jackson Heights Queens, was exposed to graf at a REALLY young age, then moving to Long Island, met a lot of people that we bonded through art…

I saw more areas of NYC during these times than many people have in their lifetimes, traveled to other states for graf conventions, hall off fame’s, train tunnels and yards, abandoned buildings, highways, overpasses, you name it…. Met so many people from every part and just bonded.

This is just some of the pics I could find, there’s hundreds if not more, and videos that are probably gone forever with friends who are no longer with us.

The new way to sip whiskey with a couple ice cubes and keep it cold for HOURS!!!! Happy New Year everyone, be safe out there.
