Valhalla Fire Department

This morning at 04:35am Valhalla Fire and Hawthorne Fire department was dispatched to the Sprain Brook Parkway for a motor vehicle accident with possible extrication. 2481 arrived on scene to find two vehicles involved, one pickup on its side. 2482, Rescue 9, Engine 81, and Hawthorne worked together to free one of the occupants of the pickup truck who could not get out on their own. Multiple ambulances were also requested for the individuals involved. The vehicles were removed from the road way and all units were back in service just before 6am

Last night the Engine Company, Independent Company and Hawthorne Fire drilled on master stream operations. Members practiced hitting the hydrant and supplying water to two ladder trucks.
