Happy Friday everyone. Just a reminder that after taking the month of May off from a meeting, we are getting together soon.

Our June meeting will be held on Sunday, June 14th, 1:00 - 4:00 pm. We meet at the Unity of the West Spiritual Center, 350 North Orchard Ave in Vacaville.

Hard to believe, but we have been meeting at this location for one year this month!

Last month we learned of a local girl battling cancer. We selected special Project Linus blankets for her and her brother. In addition, the wonderful group Essentially Everly also provided her with a tote of things to keep her busy while she was in the hospital. Her family is giving me permission to share pictures of Ava and Mason. I’m so glad the blankets have been some comfort. This is why we do what we do.

I want to thank all of you who joined us at the meeting on Sunday, April 12th. It was nice to see so many of you there, including new Blanketeers!

We are delivering 370 blankets throughout our communities, so far this month.There was such a variety of blankets on hand, crochet baby blankets, tied fleece, fleece with the crochet edge and quilts. All will be appreciated!
