All Aboard Ohio

A true landmark of the Netherlands: Rotterdam Centraal Station. Conceived by Team CS (Benthem Crouwel Architects, MVSA, and West 8) with design work starting in 2003, this 40,000-square-meter hub is defined by its soaring roofline. That canopy acts as an architectural compass pointing passengers straight toward the city center and creating a defining city spot. Core idea: Infrastructure should have identity, do you agree?

Ohio’s first new Amtrak stop in decades is in the works along with a return to a historical station in Elyria and upgrades across the state. This is the biggest investment in passenger rail infrastructure we’ve seen in a long time and we’re going to check it out.
