FORTEM HYROX DAY 💥🦁
Saturday, July 11 during our normal 8:00 AM + 9:00 AM classes, we’re bringing a Hyrox-style workout to Fortem.
HYROX combines running with functional movements like sled pushes, carries, wall balls, lunges, rowing, and more. In a lot of ways, it’s the kind of mixed-modal training we already do, with a stronger focus on endurance, pacing, and moving well under fatigue.
This will be a fun way to test your engine, build capacity, and try something a little different while still training with movements we know and love.
As always, we’ll scale everything as needed to get you the right stimulus and experience.

8 Deadlifts, 275/185 lbs
Rest 1 minute between rounds.
Level 1:
5 rounds, each for time:
200 m Run
10 Deadlifts, pick load
Rest 1 minute between rounds.
Today was all about building the ability to repeat a hard effort while staying strong under fatigue. The run got your heart rate up, then it’s was time to brace, stay in good position, and lift well even when you’re tired.
