Invisible Fence jumps on board to sponsor the JR2 class during the 100CC Throwdown!

The Eurosport 100CC Throwdown presented by Intermountain Specialty Gases just got a whole lot bigger with Invisible Fence sponsoring the winner's purse for the JR2 206 portion of the event on Saturday June 27th. What was just a regular points race for the class now carries a lot more weight with the winner receiving $500 and locking themselves into the A Main at SPUD CUP this year. Second place will take home $250 and Third place will collect $100.

Just like at SPUD CUP later this year the event will now have a marquee race not just on Sunday making the weekend in its entirety that much more exciting. "With 18 JR2 drivers participating in our first events of the season we have a very large and strong local contingent of JR2 competitors so seeing 20+ at this race would not surprise me and I think this will be a great tuneup for many of these drivers for SPUD CUP later this season. I expect a great race and an awesome show for anyone wanting to come out and watch the future of our sport." - Travis Milburn

Eurosport 100CC Throwdown Presented by Intermountain Specialty Gases is back one month from today and it is bigger than ever!

After two successful opening years at The Motorplex the 100CC Throwdown is back for its third year and it is now at Kart Idaho for the first time. What makes this year different is that not only is there $1,000 on the line for the winner but there is also the SR206 SPUD CUP Qualifier race the same weekend with a $1,000 dollar payday as well for the winner along with a provisional into the SPUD CUP SR A Main which has proved to be ultra important the past two years.

There also will be a change in the format of the weekend with Saturday being a normal club race for all the four stroke classes and 125 shifter. The results from Saturday's races will set the lineup for the SR206 Pre Final on Sunday. The single speed two strokes will then have a dedicated practice on Saturday after racing has concluded and will all have their full races on Sunday. This includes JR100 making a return as a class at Kart Idaho as it is being brought back June 13-14 now that numerous JR206 drivers have joined the class as well as the first ever 60cc race at Kart Idaho.

Additional prizes and awards will be announced soon for other classes as sponsorships are being finalized currently. If you would like to be a part of the biggest race of the Summer in Southern Idaho reach out to Kart Idaho and we can make it happen!

Looking forward to what should be a fantastic weekend of racing June 26-28!
