Our staff finishing up the training on June 9th. We learned so much about our strengths and how to better interact with others. We gained insight on working together and utilizing our stronger talents and how to combine them with the strengths of others so that we all succeed.
Grateful for leadership who encourages us to be the best we can be!

"Hello, my name is Danielle Swift, and I have had the privilege of being a part of the Career Development Program throughout my entire collegiate journey. Not only did the program provide me with financial support, but it also gave me invaluable guidance and encouragement as I worked toward earning my four-year degree.
As a mom to a toddler, while also working and attending school full time, there were many moments when balancing everything felt overwhelming. Having the support of the Career Development Program made such a meaningful difference and helped remind me that I was never alone in this journey.
Jill Reyna has been my career counselor from the very beginning, and I truly could not have asked for anyone better. Her support, encouragement, and belief in me made such a difference throughout my college experience.
On May 15, 2026, I graduated with my Bachelor of Social Work degree, and I am now preparing to begin my dream job with Lighthouse Behavioral Wellness Centers. I could not be more grateful for everything the Career Development Program has done for me along the way.
To future students: no matter how impossible the journey may seem at times, keep going. Whether you are balancing work, parenthood, or other responsibilities, your goals are still achievable. Lean on your support system, believe in yourself, and never give up on the future you are working so hard to build."
Yakoke for sharing with us Danielle! We are so thrilled for you and we appreciate your kind words and willingness to share about your journey.
