This distinction matters most for students whose language foundations are still developing, regardless of whether they use ASL, Listening and Spoken Language, or a combination of modalities. For those students, access to a consistent language model can be the factor that 𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 that interpreter access alone doesn't address.
