Jerry Staller Way is now part of our Jawonio story. 💙
Today, friends, colleagues, and Jerry's family gathered to honor an extraordinary life of compassion, leadership, and service. It was especially meaningful to share this moment with his daughters, Lauren and Karen, and grandson Jackson Staller, who had the honor of unveiling the street sign.

A heartfelt thank you to Town of Clarkstown Supervisor George Hoehmann, the Clarkstown Town Board, the Highway Department, and shout out to Jeff Gillies for helping make this lasting tribute possible.
Jerry's legacy will continue to inspire all who pass this way.

CEO Randi Rios-Castro statement on extending TPS until July 24th:

"Today, 22 dedicated, Jawonio employees most all our Direct Support Professionals caring for people with disabilities were facing termination as of today due to thend of work authorizations related to their Temporary Protected Status.

This devastating decision would have impacted their lives, their families, and the people who rely on them every day.

While we are grateful for this short-term reprieve, temporary extensions are not a solution.

It is time for Congress and the Administration to create permanent pathways that allow these essential workers to remain in the United States, including opportunities to seek a change in status beyond temporary protections, so they can continue living, working, and providing critical healthcare services and compassionate care to people with disabilities."

Randi also appeared on News 12 Hudson Valley today with Diane Caruso following the decision.
