My word this year is alignment.

Not the kind that arrives all at once,
but the kind you return to,
again and again,
when the noise gets loud
and the world pulls you in a hundred directions.

Alignment is choosing what feels true
even when it’s uncomfortable.
It’s letting go of what looks good on the outside
but feels heavy in the soul.
It’s honoring the quiet nudges,
the pauses,
the moments when my body knows
before my mind catches up.

Alignment means my values and my actions
finally speak the same language.
It means my yes carries intention
and my no carries peace.
It means I stop abandoning myself
to keep the world comfortable.

This year, alignment looks like trust,
trusting timing,
trusting intuition,
trusting that what’s meant for me
won’t require me to shrink, chase, or prove.

It’s choosing relationships that feel safe,
work that feels honest,
and a life that feels like home inside my chest.
It’s learning that rest is not laziness,
stillness is not stagnation,
and walking away can be an act of courage.

Alignment is remembering who I was
before I learned to doubt myself,
and choosing her again.
Every day.
Even when it’s hard.
Especially when it’s hard.

This year isn’t about becoming someone new.
It’s about coming back
to who I’ve always been,
clear, grounded, and whole.

Clean lines, custom touches, and craftsmanship that speaks for itself 🤍
These stairs feature engineered white oak flooring, white oak stair skirt, newel posts, and railing — all finished in a custom stain blend for that perfect warm tone. Don’t miss the subtle detail of dust corners for easy maintenance and less time chasing crumbs 👏.
