Celebrating the Independence of our Country with our residents today with some light refreshments and of course, BINGO! Tonight we will have fireworks, barbecue, and beverages for our residents to enjoy. At Union Care Center our residents enjoy the parties almost as much as we enjoy celebrating with them! Have a Happy and Safe Fourth of July everyone!

Behind every great team is a great leader... Is that how the saying goes? Well, we are fortunate to have a great one here at Union Care Center, Tracy. This past week wouldn't have happened without her support and guidance. She was very sick, came in each day participated, and hung in there on antibiotics and all!

Skilled Nursing Home week at Union Care Center radiated memories as we had a "Tribute to the Golden Age of Radio." We started with Elvis Day on Monday as staff dressed in Elvis attire and a 'lip sync' contest entertained our residents! Our housekeeping supervisor, Christeine, was the winner of this contest.

Baskets were donated by many department managers and some outside vendors. Today's basket winner was April Robison and the basket she won was donated by St Croix Hospice. Charlie was able to take a photo since he happened to be nearby when we held the drawing. Congrats April! Thanks St Croix Hospice and Charlie. We appreciate your support.
