This critical project is being funded through the Texas General Land Office CDBG-Mitigation Program, with a total grant award of $13,627,000.00 and zero percent local match.

Traylor & Associates, Inc. held Resilient Communities Program meetings in West Orange on January 12th and 13th. There were several citizens in attendance, and a great discussion was held each evening. The Resilient Communities Program is a grant program funded through the General Land Office that assists communities in developing, adopting, and implementing modern and resilient building codes and flood damage prevention ordinances to ensure that structures built within the community can withstand future hazards. There will be other public meetings in the future so keep an eye out for your opportunity to voice your opinion.
