The Story Behind the Song:

The Crimson Line album is a 13-song journey through the final hours of Jesus’ life. This song focuses on a choice—a line drawn before every soul.

Long ago, a missionary shared the Gospel in a place where following Christ meant losing everything. He told of Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection, and the gift of eternal life.

Then he drew a line in the sand.

“If you are willing to follow Christ, step across this line.”

The translator hesitated. “If anyone crosses that line, they will lose their family, their home—everything. They will walk away with nothing.”

But the message was given.

No one moved.

Then a thirteen-year-old boy stepped forward. He stopped just short of the line, knowing exactly what it would cost him. Everyone watched.

And then—he stepped across.

He was the only one who received Christ that day, and it cost him everything.
Later, he said, “Everyone was thinking about what I would lose… but I was thinking about what I would gain.”

Today, that same line stands before each of us—not on a beach, but across eternity.
A line between life and death.�Between heaven and hell.
