After being diagnosed with lymphoma at just five years old, Dottie began a journey that no family ever hopes to face. Over the last few years, chemotherapy has become part of her routine filled with treatments, bloodwork, medications, and difficult days. Yet through it all, Dottie continues to greet each visit with bright eyes, a happy smile, and that signature wiggly nub.

Her mom Nikki shared something that deeply resonates with our team. Chemotherapy isn’t just treatment, it’s time, time that wasn’t promised. Time filled with car rides, zoomies, favorite toys, quiet moments together, and memories that her family will cherish forever. It’s a beautiful reminder that while we can’t always change a diagnosis, we can sometimes give families something just as meaningful, more moments together.

Dottie is the definition of a fighter. She doesn’t know she’s inspiring everyone around her, she simply wakes up each day ready to enjoy the things she loves. Even after treatments and on days when she isn’t feeling her best, she still finds joy in chasing her ball, going on adventures, and sharing her infectious smile. Her resilience isn’t measured by the treatments she’s received, but by her unwavering spirit and the happiness she continues to bring to those who love her.

To Dottie’s incredible parents Nikki & Jimmy, thank you for trusting us with her care and for allowing us to be part of your journey. Your unwavering love for Dottie is evident in every decision you make and every visit you share with us. Your kindness, and even the homemade goods that you so thoughtfully bring our team is something we’ll never forget.

Dottie, thank you for reminding us why we do what we do. Your story is one of courage, hope, and the immeasurable gift of time. It is truly an honor to be your team. 🩵💙🐾

Since meeting Yuki in November of 2024, we’ve had the privilege of being part of an incredibly special journey. Diagnosed with Stage IV lymphoma, Yuki faced every challenge with remarkable strength and resilience, and it has been an honor to watch her continue to thrive more than a year after treatment.

What makes Yuki’s story especially meaningful is the bond she shared with her mom. As Jacquie shared, Yuki rarely left her mother’s lap from the day they brought her home from the shelter. We’re grateful that her treatment helped give them more precious time together and that Yuki was able to remain by her mom’s side through life’s most important moments. Knowing that Yuki could provide comfort, companionship, and love to her mom until her peaceful passing is a reminder of the extraordinary impact our pets have on our lives.

Thank you, Jacquie, for trusting Dr. Fiocchi and our team with Yuki’s care. 💙🩵🐾

Meet this brave girl, Winter! She has been with our VCG family since 2023, and has faced every step of her Lymphoma journey with courage! Along with her family, we are incredibly proud that Winter is now in remission.

It brings us joy to hear that Winter continues to stay strong and can be her sweet, funny self with her family. We will always remember and miss her beloved sister Penny, and are grateful to Kelsee and Zachary for allowing us to care for their girls.💙🩵🐾
