Riley started their race smart, tending to little issues that previously cost them the race. But no ultra is complete without complications. Battling through vision blur and an upset stomach from fueling complications, Riley fought for the podium every step of the way to Auburn.

They summed it up perfectly in our post-race interview: "New things always seem to pop up in ultras."
