Tragic!

Train vs. Pedestrian at the Fulkerth railroad crossing. Reportedly, the person was still alive and being transported by a helicopter to a hospital!

Both Fulkerth and Canal railroad crossings are closed. Use Olive or Taylor crossings.
Update: (Tuolumne and Monte Vista also are being reported closed)

Let’s set our community agenda since the City of Turlock won’t, and address the real and serious issue homelessness and related issues to homelessness (perceived or real).

Homelessness in Turlock... Comment with concerns, suggestions, issues, ideas for solutions, experiences, etc.

Homelessness was discussed at a recent City of Turlock and Turlock Downtown Property Owners Association meeting.

Most participants left with frustration and no sense of progress, and no potential solutions in sight as it doesn’t seem much has been done in the last decade. Homelessness actually appears like it’s increasing and getting worse here in Turlock.

We’ve seen over the last 10 years that there’s been around 100 meetings, with 100s of people, 1,000s of hours, $1,000,000s in related services’ funding grants/donations, unknown reports of damage, medical responses, police calls of service, $10,000,000s in commercial property districts often impacted, and $100,000,000s of potential negatively impacted commerce in those districts... all involving most of us 73,000 Turlockers and the 100,000 people in Turlock at any given day.

Comment with concerns, suggestions, issues, ideas for solutions, experiences, etc.

It’s not just you, or Turlock... this looks to be a major outage through the region.

We are getting several reports of widespread Charter Spectrum internet service outages. Is your internet or cable out? If so, what area and when did it start?
