This is a good article — put Data Centers on the poorest soils, not the nation’s most productive agricultural lands. The speaker is the Ag Commissioner from Texas. Two-thirds of the 3,000 planned Data Centers are in rural areas. The Ag Commissioner is asking that there be guard rails so the centers are built in brownfields, built on poor soils and not on the most productive ag land.
