Think about this, women. It's been 54 years since Title 9. I'm 66 and I remember it. 1972 was a pivotal year for me. My Dad had open heart ❤️ surgery, and I began fainting at the sight of blood, and upon entering hospitals. We eliminated salt from our diets, had protein shakes for breakfast, and Dad became our coach in track and field. We lived two blocks from Standiford Park, and 5 nights a week, we ran down there with our dog, Shatzi. We played Frisbee and ran! We used the sand area to practice broad jump! We all earned The Presidents Physical Fitness Award patches for the most pull-ups. I ran in the Northern California Relays at MJC while in high school. I went on to excell in gymnastics, and teach it at the local YMCA in Chico while I was in college. I've been a health and wellness advocate for over 23 years, and still learning. This is a picture of Erica and I at an amusement park in Bransom, Missouri kicked off our bootcamp with Juice Plus. We've come a long way, baby!
