Marriage Still Matters

In a world that treats commitment like it’s optional, marriage still stands as one of the most powerful covenants on earth. It’s not about perfection, it’s about perseverance. It’s choosing grace over resentment, humility over pride, and “we” over “me.”

Every strong marriage tells a story of two imperfect people who refused to give up on each other.

So today, fight for your marriage. Speak life into it. Protect it. Strengthen it. Because a strong marriage doesn’t just bless two people, it changes generations.

Ephesians 5:31-32 For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh. This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church.

As a woman, as a wife, you stand in a sacred, irreplaceable place. Your presence, your words, your touch have the power to stir something deep in your husband’s soul. You are the melody God composed to echo through the backdrop of his world. You carry the gift of life, not only through children, but in the way you breathe hope into his dreams, strength into his weaknesses, and courage into his quiet fears. I know this to be true because my Penny is that melody to me, the song my heart recognizes, the rhythm it finds its way back to, no matter how far it wanders.

Happy Mother’s Day to the women who love deeply, sacrifice daily, pray faithfully, and hold their families together with strength and grace. A godly mother leaves fingerprints on the hearts of her children and creates a legacy that reaches far beyond what she can see today. To every mother who feels unseen, exhausted, or unappreciated, what you do matters more than words can express. Thank you for the love, wisdom, encouragement, and stability you bring into your home. Today we honor you and celebrate the incredible impact you make every single day. - Danny Delgado

"I picture forgiveness like a game of tug‐of‐war … If both spouses continue to pull hard on their end of the rope, the still‐loose knot begins to get tighter and tighter and tighter. At some point, there’s the danger that nobody can ever untie it. But forgiveness means one spouse merely drops his or her end of the rope. This loosens the tension and preserves the possibility that the knot might be untangled by the two of you. The other person can continue tugging, but it doesn’t do any good any more." - Lee and Leslie Strobel

Ephesians 4:32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
