I'm reaching out for help from the OR/WA rescue community to find safe refuge for my herd of four mini-Nigerian goats.

They're currently staying at a farm in Gaston, OR (40 minutes outside of Portland). They have until JUNE there.

I'm unemployed, lost my farm, and I'm running out of time and savings. I need to get them safe. I can provide safe transport.

I've placed ads online for private adopters, as well as flyers at local feed/farm stores. I’m also hoping the rescue community can help.

If you have any leads for a good home seeking goats, can you please let me know?

THE GOATS

Friendly, gentle, and well-loved. No horns. Not escape artists. No medical issues. Bonded herd, must stay together. Can transport.

Cash – 6-year-old brown/black wether (very sweet and affectionate!)
Viola – 8-year-old blonde doe, Cash’s mom
Olive – 6-year-old black/white/brown doe (my bottle fed baby)
Greta - 1-year-old black/white doe (new to my herd, was abandoned at birth, a little feral but warming up, very sweet, loves treats)

THE SITUATION

I had re-homed my goats to a beautiful farm with wonderful people.

Six months later, this farm also experienced job loss (BLM cutbacks) and needed to find new homes for their animals too.

I got my goats back (and took Greta with us) and found temporary boarding at a farm in Gaston, OR.

I have until June to find a permanent home for them. After this, we will be in a crisis situation and would like to get ahead of that.
