Make a difference in your community while gaining valuable experience! 📚

The Transformative Tutoring Initiative at the Jeannine Rainbolt College of Education is seeking OU students to tutor Algebra I during the 2025–26 academic year.

Tutors will work with two high school students three times per week during school hours at one of eight community partner sites. This is a meaningful opportunity to support student success, develop leadership skills and make a lasting impact.

Join us at the OU Culinary Medicine Teaching Kitchen for hands-on cooking classes featuring Breakfasts, To-Go Lunches, and One-Pot Dinners! At each class, you'll prepare and taste six delicious recipes and take home a digital recipe packet to recreate your favorites.

Tulsa child care centers shift in survival mode over funding crisis 05/20/2026

As Oklahoma child care centers navigate ongoing funding challenges, strong partnerships between universities and early childhood programs are more important than ever. Through OU-Tulsa’s Early Childhood Education Institute (ECEI), local Research Training Partners like Crosstown Learning Center and The Preschool at Kirk Crossing provide valuable opportunities for staff to practice child assessments and classroom quality observations.

In return, partner sites receive incentives and specialized materials designed to support the use of research-based tools that improve outcomes for young children and families.
