and try to see to their other needs as best we can to establish a working relationship so we may be of better service in the future. Our greatest needs right now are the things listed above and of course money to buy supplies. This is a new endeavor on our part and we are just in the beginning phase but the weather waits on no-one and we are desperate to get relief to these folks. So this is where we begin. we will begin cooking a hot meal for them once a week (this will increase) and establishing relationships. We have long range goals for this plan. We have a few mountains to cross but we believe we can be successful with your help. We aren’t asking a lot from individuals just maybe some time and effort to help implement the necessary footwork and skills to lend to the task. If you have extra warm blankets or coats, gloves, socks, hats or even some extra canned vegetables in your pantry to donate, anything you can give will be well used. We are also seeking small backpacks or gym bags for bed rolls or small bottles of hygiene products such as shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, body soap, feminine products. So this is the beginning of a plan we hope will go a long way to bringing relief to these worthy people. We will take this a day at a time and as we are able to move forward. We are also asking for your input in this endeavor and any suggestions, or help you can give is greatly appreciated. We welcome anyone who would like to come be a part of this exciting journey and experience the blessings we experience each time we interact with these people. These people are us. When we feed them we feed us. When we give to them we give to us, when we bless them we bless us.
