Price University
Introducing Price University's New Student Body Government Division
We are thrilled to unveil an exciting development in Price University's commitment to student engagement and representation: the launch of a new division within the Student Body Government dedicated solely to serving the needs of our students.
For the first time in our history, Price University is expanding its Student Body Government to include a specialized division comprised of dedicated individuals who will champion student interests, advocate for their needs, and foster a vibrant and Christ like community.
This innovative initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to enhancing the future leader experience and ensuring that every voice within our future leader community is heard and valued. The creation of this new division aligns with Price University's mission to provide a supportive and enriching environment where our leaders of tomorrow can thrive academically, socially, and personally.
The new division will focus on the following key areas, each essential in fulfilling the mission of the Student Body Government and representing the principles and values of Price University:
1. Representation: Advocating for student needs, concerns, and initiatives to university administration, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders, ensuring that diverse perspectives are heard and respected.
2. Advocacy: Working tirelessly to improve the overall student experience at Price University by advocating for policies, programs, and initiatives that address the needs and interests of the student body.
3. Leadership: Providing visionary leadership within the student government and across campus, setting goals, organizing activities, and inspiring fellow students to get involved in campus life.
4. Communication: Facilitating transparent communication between students and university leadership, disseminating important information, and soliciting feedback from the student body to ensure that their voices are heard and valued.
5. Event Planning: Collaborating with student organizations and campus departments to plan and execute events, programs, and initiatives that enhance student life and promote community engagement.
6. Resource Allocation: Responsibly managing the Student Body Government budget and allocating resources to support student-led initiatives, projects, and events that benefit the entire university community.
7. Policy Development: Participating in the development of policies and procedures that affect students, ensuring that student perspectives are considered in decision-making processes at all levels of the university.
8. Outreach and Engagement: Engaging with students through various outreach efforts, including town hall meetings, surveys, and social media, to gather input, address concerns, and encourage participation in Student Body Government activities.
These dedicated individuals will form the core of the new Student Body Government division, working collaboratively to represent and serve the diverse needs and interests of Price University students.
As we embark on this exciting new chapter, we invite all students to get involved, share their ideas, and actively participate in shaping the future of our university community. Together, we will strive to create a campus environment that reflects the character, excellence, and standards exemplified by Jesus Christ.
Stay tuned for more updates and opportunities to engage with the Student Body Government as we work together to make Price University an even better place to learn, grow, and succeed.
Sincerely,
Price University Student Affairs Administration
