Voters overwhelmingly approve Tulsa Public Schools' bond package, elect new board rep All four parts of TPS' $609 million bond package were passing late Tuesday with more than 80% approval from voters. And Connie Dodson defeated incumbent E’Lena Ashley for the District 4 seat.

Tulsa Mayor Monroe Nichols reflected on his first year in office at the Chamber’s 2025 State of the City. Before more than 1,250 attendees, he outlined progress made and a bold vision for what’s ahead.
Mayor Nichols shared updates on priorities, including homelessness, housing, economic development, public safety, youth opportunity and stronger relationships with Tribal Nations. His message was clear; Tulsa is facing challenges head-on, with compassion, collaboration and investment.
