Ten minutes. That's all it takes. At 95°, a child can suffer a heat-related illness after just 10 minutes in a hot car.
Heat-related illness in a vehicle can happen faster than you think. Children are especially vulnerable because their bodies heat up 3 to 5 times faster than adults. EMSA reminds you to always check the back seat before locking your doors and never leave a child unattended in a vehicle.
