Delay is the enemy of progress. Some of us will sit in our comfy chair using the excuse that we're waiting for the "perfect" moment to act. What usually happens is that moment never arrives. It's a form of denial and inhibits growth. You've got to take the action, gain momentum, and then hold on!

Happy Monday!

I recently read a post from a BnB host who was out of town with limited cellular service when his guests experienced a problem accessing the property. While the issue was resolved through the booking agency it emphasized to me an excellent example as to why a local contact/manager/host is valuable.

Incidentally, one of our guests had an issue this weekend when our electronic door lock stopped working. I was instantly accessible via text and voice call. They had to leave and be at their event and I assured them it would be handled ASAP. They locked the front door and went out the back patio door, leaving it unlocked. I was there quickly, fixed the problem and locked up the house.

I sent them a text so they could rest easy knowing the house was locked up and their belongings secure.

The owners who live out of state and who have entrusted me with their business were also able to rest easy.

This is what I love about my job-providing excellent service to our guests and peace of mind for my clients.
