This past weekend from beginning to end Jewels Festival was a great adventure! Renewing old friendships and creating new for a lifetime! This was not just a competition, it was about life. No one knows the future, all I can say is that our art form is very precious and sensitive and individual! It is about the artist and the soul! I have been blessed with a wonderful career! If it comes down to only how many pirouettes, how many fouettés? Is this the art of our profession? I do not recall in all of my performances Juliet, Nikiya etc thst is was important to do multiple pirouettes for success
I recall the intent of artistry to portray the role

I hope for all of these young dancers
Pursue your dreams!!!
