This week, Tulsa SPCA, alongside Oklahoma Alliance for Animals, vaccinated 47 dogs on a rural property in Oklahoma.

There has been a lot said about the dogs and the owner of the property on Milfay Road. At Tulsa SPCA, our mission is to improve the lives of dogs, cats, and the people who care for them. We believe that lasting change begins with compassion, not judgment.

The owner knows every one of these dogs by name. They know their genders, their stories, and their personalities. With a single whistle, the dogs all came running. That connection reminds us that every situation is more complex than it may appear at first glance.

All 47 dogs were vaccinated and microchipped during this visit. Next week, our team will return to spay and neuter the dogs and bring some of them back with us to begin the next chapter of their lives.
