TECHSICO is looking for an experienced audio/video estimator/lead. Must be a highly motivated problem solver with a positive attitude and helpful to all team members. This position would estimate bids for projects. An estimator must be able to communicate effectively with customers, contractors, manufacturers, vendors, and team members.

Minimum 3 years experience in A/V estimating/sales/design/management.

Responsibilities:
Read plans and accurately take off jobs.
Design systems as per specifications and from scratch.
Find and understand general requirements of bids.
Ascertain which jobs are the best opportunity to win.
Communicate with other divisions and estimators within the company.
Organization and time management are key.
Get pricing from manufacturers/vendors for bids.
Understand multiple systems TECHSICO provides.
Continue to train and learn new systems.
Understand job conditions and the time it will take to complete projects.
Recognize new opportunities and follow up on new leads.
Attend in person pre-bid meetings.
Follow up on bids.
Order material and insure it arrives on site and on time.
Write scopes of work.
Perform job walks.
Program and troubleshoot systems.
Manage projects.
Answer technical questions.
Maintain contact with customers via phone calls, email, happy hours, lunches/dinners, meetings, etc.
Portray the company in a positive light.
Be a team player.
Other duties as assigned.

Must posses excellent computer skills: Windows, Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Visio, Teams, OneNote), Bluebeam, Fieldwire, Stardraw

Certifications preferred: AVIXA, CTS-D, CTS-I, Crestron, Extron, Q-Sys, RCDD

Helpful skills: installing audio/video systems, theatrical lighting, rigging, troubleshooting and repairing problems in complex systems, installing software and firmware

Must be able to pass full background check and drug tests, including ma*****na due to federal requirements and life safety. Must have transportation, drivers license, and vehicle insurance. Use of company vehicles for work related functions. Profit sharing possibilities after one year.
