Today, after seeing so much positive responses, I went to Tulsa Health Department to do research into making food from home to sell. I hit a major roadblock to do it correctly according to the Health Department guidelines and Homemade Food Freedom Act (Department of Agriculture). Also looked into Kitchen 66, the requirements is more cost ineffective for me to do it for just twice a month or once a week. Consulted with accounting office about taxes ( thank you Michelle for taking th etime to explain the different scenario) and it seems that a lot of requirements won’t apply to me if I offer service instead of products. Just throwing out idea here, do you think you might be interested in cooking class? 🤔 Or if you have suggestions?
