Lower back pain isn’t always what it seems 👀

Your hips play a huge role in how your body moves and supports your spine. When the hips are tight, weak, or out of alignment, your lower back often has to compensate—leading to discomfort, stiffness, or even chronic pain.

💡 Common signs your hips may be the culprit:
• Pain that worsens after sitting
• Stiffness when standing up or walking
• Pain that radiates from the low back into the hips or thighs

The good news? Addressing hip strength, flexibility, and alignment can make a big difference in relieving back pain and improving mobility.

If you’ve been treating your lower back with little relief, it might be time to look a little lower 😉

📍 Our team at The Orthopaedic Center can help pinpoint the source of your pain and get you back to moving comfortably.

Shoulder pain during bicep curls? It’s not just about your arms—it’s often your form 💪

Bicep curls seem simple, but small mistakes can put unnecessary strain on your shoulders instead of targeting your biceps.

🏋️‍♀️Tips to avoid shoulder injury during bicep curls:
◾️Keep your elbows pinned at your sides – Letting them drift forward shifts the load to your shoulders
◾️Control the movement – Avoid swinging or using momentum to lift the weight
◾️Choose the right weight – If you have to lean back to curl, it’s too heavy
◾️Engage your core – A stable torso helps protect your shoulders
◾️Slow on the way down – Controlled lowering reduces strain and improves muscle engagement

The goal is quality over quantity—your shoulders shouldn’t be doing the work your biceps are meant to handle.

If you’re dealing with shoulder pain during workouts, The Orthopaedic Center is here to help you lift smarter and stay injury-free.

Knee pain is easy to ignore… until it starts affecting everything you do 🦵

Walking, climbing stairs, getting up from a chair—even simple daily activities can become difficult when your knees aren’t functioning properly.

Your knee is one of the most complex and heavily used joints in your body, which means pain is often a sign that something deeper is going on—not just “normal wear and tear.”

🚨 Why it’s important to address knee pain early:
• Small issues can progress into more serious injuries over time
• Compensating for knee pain can lead to hip, back, or ankle problems
• Early treatment often means simpler, more effective recovery options
• Staying active becomes harder the longer pain is ignored

The good news? Many causes of knee pain are highly treatable when caught early.

If knee pain is slowing you down, our team at The Orthopaedic Center is here to help you find answers—and get you moving comfortably again.
