Throwing it back to last June when I got to photograph the most fun and intimate wedding and reception
Kylie+Rehan had the most perfect and fun evening celebrating:))

To have a sister is to know
who will fight beside you in a war
and who will hold your hand through
every heartache-someone to gently
braid your hair and soothe you

To have a sister is to know who will
walk with you to school even when
the world feels like it's falling apart

To have a sister is to fight but still cut
every apple, pear, mango in half
as a way of apologizing for all the times
you have bitterly fought

And when the world gets too overwhelming,
you are there for each other to hold on to
It's true what they say,
They are the sea to my shore,
the only people I would run through an airport for

Been planning this shoot with the other parts of myself for over a year now. Almost shot it last December but we weren't all together for long enough. We finally got to shoot it this past May with the help of a family friend  and I've been holding on to them for too long not to share

Everyday I am reminded of how sweet it is to be surrounded by women that build each other up instead of tearing each other down. My sister's are everything to me and to say that I'm blessed is an understatement🫶

Sweet summertime:)
My nephew was actually so upset during this entire session😂 He wanted cake and to play with his little animal figurines (relatable) but we kept him busy and as happy as possible with different activities which was so sweet and fun!

He is normally super excited and happy but everyone knows that when the camera comes out, so do the attitudes! haha When you're photographing children, there is always bound to be a few tears to work through but the best thing to do is be flexible and calm no matter what mood your child is in😆
