Pyx Health CEO Cindy Jordan had seen a loved one’s physical and mental health decline rapidly from stable to high risk. While caring for them, Cindy learned about gaps in healthcare and the pervasive loneliness and social isolation epidemic affecting vulnerable populations. Vowing to wage a war on loneliness, Cindy was moved to create an impactful solution marrying technology and compassionate human interventions; and in 2017, the Pyx Health app was born. Today, while Cindy’s work is far from done, 93% of Pyx users report feeling healthier, and health plans have seen significant reductions in costs for Pyx patients.
