We've teamed up with Tucson Cold Wet Noses to host an Enrichment Toy Drive.

Thanks for helping the PACC dogs during the closure.

🐾 In case you haven't heard, PACC is temporarily closed to the public while staff work to contain and manage infectious diseases within the shelter, including canine distemper and respiratory infections affecting dogs across Pima County. Effective yesterday, the shelter is limiting intake through at least July 2 to only those animals that pose a risk to public safety or require emergency care. In addition, adoptions have been temporarily paused until animals can be confirmed disease-free and safe to leave the shelter. 🐾

To help dogs like Bubba A902985 (who's deadlined and we are pulling for an adopter!), we are teaming up with A Loyal Companion to collect enrichment toys and treats to help the PACC dogs pass the time in their kennels.

Please drop off any donations to A Loyal Companion at 4758 E Grant Road, from 9-4. A Loyal Companion will also have a table to make rope toys for the dogs, starting on Friday from 10-4.

Grandpa is a lovable 3-year-old pup in need of a foster home where he can heal surrounded by comfort and care.

He arrived at PACC with a broken leg and underwent surgery, but unfortunately the injury did not heal as expected.

Grandpa will now need an amputation, and we'd love to see him recover in a foster home where he can rest and receive the love he deserves.

Despite everything he's been through, Grandpa has been described as a sweetheart who wins people over with his gentle nature and kind spirit.

All he needs is a cozy place to recover and someone willing to give him a little extra TLC during his healing journey.

Recovery is often easier in a home than in a shelter and fostering Grandpa will make a tremendous difference in his life.

PACC will provide all medical care and support during his recovery - you provide the love, comfort, and a safe place for him to heal.
