By harnessing the innate human-animal bond, pet visitation, brings the joy, comfort, and unconditional love to persons in need and can empower and motivate them to improve their physical and psychological health and well-being. We also provide HSSA Comfort Dogs to those affected by a crisis or traumatic event. By using canine assisted support we provide compassion and encouragement and bring comfort to individuals or families suffering pain or loss by promoting the human-animal bond.
