Open Space gathers every Thursday in community for art, community, and conversation about faith. Third Thursdays: Pizza and Paint – Free dinner followed by art, fellowship, and community around a theme. We take out our paints and clays, or just ourselves, and hang out and create things around a theme. Three hours long to give time for projects. 6:30-9:30pm @ The Studio Space at 4648 E Speedway Blv

Call For Artists:

Lutheran Campus Ministry at UA is looking for people to paint a backdrop live, Wednesday, March 23, starting at 9am. It will take place on the U of A Mall/ middle stage.

It will involve 2 large (roughly 8 ft x 8ft) rolling displays from U of A that can be draped with fabric. The goal is to afterwards put up the canvases afterwards in the new Interfaith Chapel space in the Student Union.

The Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion is releasing the publicity soon and would love the name(s) & bios of the artists by next week.

President Robbins is declaring it the "Day of Memory, Hope & Healing" to commemorate the past 2 years of the pandemic. There will be speakers, poets & musicians from various religious and cultural groups from 9-10 am and 1-2 pm with a World Food event happening on the mall all afternoon.
