Wings for Autism is back this fall and registration opens August 1st!
Our friends at The Arc of Arizona, Inc. host this event every year at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport which is designed to alleviate some of the stress that comes with traveling by air for people with autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Participants practice entering the airport, obtaining boarding passes, going through security, and boarding a plane. It also gives airport, airline, and TSA professionals the opportunity to learn, observe and improve the travel experience for this population.
