As for the name GOATographer, I'm part of an elite (not really, but we have nice shirts) running group called the Slow Old Goats. Membership requires meeting two out of three qualifying characteristics, i.e. that you're slow, that you're old and that you're a goat. Since input from spouses and significant others is accepted, none of us fail the last test, though many of us fail the first (not me)

Hard to believe that it's nearly May. But it is, so I went down the rabbit hole to pull one old Cinco race photo. A couple hours later... I've reworked any number of old photos and still haven't decided which to use as the cover photo. I think these were 2017 vintage (and that Chapel ran all the races). Advice appreciated.

Heat training season is nearly upon us. It may not be as fun and some of your metrics will no doubt suffer, but the benefits are real....as Dolby said 'SCIENCE!'. Just consider for a moment that you can stay up later than 8PM and get up later than 4AM to run. Hmm...Maybe go out and support local musicians that night instead (my vested interest).
