July is Bereaved Parents Awareness Month—a time dedicated to acknowledging the profound grief experienced by parents who have had a child die, and to recognizing the ongoing nature of that loss.

Grief of this kind doesn’t follow a timeline or a predictable path. This month is an opportunity to make space for that reality in public conversation, rather than keeping it in isolation.

Support can take many forms: listening without trying to fix, using a child’s name when it’s shared, acknowledging important dates, or simply being present without expectation. Small, steady acts of recognition often matter more than grand gestures.

For anyone navigating this loss: your experience is valid, and you are not required to “move on” to be supported or understood. Our bi-monthly Tuesday groups are designed for families who have experienced the death of a child, providing space for both siblings and caregivers to receive the support they need. National Widows’ Month is a time to honor the strength, resilience, and enduring love of those who have lost a spouse.

Grief after a death doesn’t follow a timeline—and for many widows and widowers, the journey includes moments of deep sorrow, adjustment, and rediscovery. This month, we recognize their stories, their courage, and the communities that stand beside them.

To everyone navigating life after a death: you are seen, you are valued, and you are not alone.

Let’s continue to build spaces of compassion, understanding, and support—not just this month, but always. If you or someone you know can be supported by our services. Please contact us: https://bit.ly/4pkPYJp

Father’s Day can be a celebration for some and a difficult day for others.

Today, we honor fathers, father figures, and the many people who have helped shape our lives. We also hold space for fathers grieving the loss of a child and those carrying other forms of loss and longing. Whether today brings joy, remembrance, grief, or gratitude, your experience matters.

One way to honor a loved one is to share a memory, speak their name, continue a tradition, or simply take a moment to reflect on the impact they made. Sending compassion to all who are navigating Father’s Day in their own way.
