Each season, the company entertains the Tucson community with historic classics as well as innovative contemporary works offering something for everyone’s taste. Ballet Tucson is a 501c3 non-profit.

Forty years of artistry, community, and the transformative power of dance — and the best is still to come. Ballet Tucson’s 2026/2027 Season looks forward with bold ambition, celebrating our legacy of excellence while embracing the extraordinary future that lies ahead.
Season highlights include the return of Associate Artistic Director Chieko Imada’s beloved 𝙎𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙞𝙩 𝙂𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙣 and 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙉𝙪𝙩𝙘𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙠𝙚𝙧 in partnership with , alongside a dazzling array of premieres. Three-time Tony Award winner Justin Peck brings his brilliant 𝘿𝙚𝙗𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙞𝙧 to our stage, George Balanchine’s luminous 𝙀𝙢𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙡𝙙𝙨 shimmers into our repertoire, and Andrea Schermoly’s stirring 𝘼𝙥𝙥𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙖𝙣 𝙎𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 makes its mark. The season also features the world premiere of Chieko Imada’s 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙢𝙚𝙣, created in collaboration with two Tucson treasures, musician and community arts leader Khris Dodge and Southwest artist Lawrence Lee.
