Google Ad mistakes are costly, but with these five targeting strategies that follow, it will be easier to get leads as customers.
1)
Google AdWords Headlines & CTA Matter.
The first strategy is using proper headlines and calls-to-action (keep it simple and direct "Roof Restoration Near Me - Get A Free Estimate Now" OR "Local Remodeling Company Near Me - Top Quality Materials & Service. Call now)
2)
Location and Proximity Targeting with Google Maps Paid Ads.
Consider different types of ads such as location service areas or proximity on Google Maps listings.
3)
Retargeting people who have visited your website or landing page.
Thirdly create remarketing lists from visitors who show interest in certain products or services offered by your company. (add a pixel to your website to start building an audience of website traffic - then show them retargeting ads on facebook/google/etc after they leave your site)
4)
Understanding what is your lead cost for specific roofing, remodeling or other contractor services.
It is important to understand your cost per lead and ad spend budget strategy and how to modify it based on your initial results. ($50-$100 per lead would be considered great cost per acquisition for roofing or a residential contractor service so ideally you should aim for at least $1000-$2000 in ad spend starting out)
5) Adjusting your ad spend Budget For High Demand Times
Understanding your area's peak season is key here. Expect to have to bid higher on ad placement due to the increased competition during these times.

5. Send nurture email campaign telling your story (WHY you do what you do, WHO you are, and then
HOW you do WHAT you do.)
Keep providing content and staying top of mind and with each commitment, you will see greater conversions and ultimately be able to help more people because at the end of the day, that's what business is all about right?
