Teens bring Tucson twist to production Hadestown at University of Arizona A group of southern Arizona teens brings a local twist to the Broadway hit Hadestown, blending Tucson’s culture with the show’s timeless themes.

There are so many thing that make our schools unique, but for Paulo Freire Freedom Schools, Intersession is one to highlight! This week, students from both middle schools are exploring the world outside the classroom, experimenting with different art techniques, learning about aviation, animals, the restaurant industry, entrepreneurship and so much more! Pictured here is a bandana hand dyed and designed by one of our scholars using sunlight! ☀️
